SoundSense Solves In-Wall And In-Ceiling Speaker Noise Problems With NoiseOut™ Acoustic Speaker Back

[The following is a release from SoundSense]

SoundSense will feature and demonstrate its patent-pending new NoiseOut Acoustic Speaker Back in booth #453 at the CEDIA Expo 2008. These high-performance acoustic enclosures are engineered to maximize the performance of recessed speakers while virtually eliminating noise problems in adjacent environments. Designed with the installer in mind, the NoiseOut Acoustic Speaker Back comes as a single unit, completely constructed and ready for installation. Due to the flexibility of the material, the speaker backs can easily be used in both new construction and retrofit applications. NoiseOut Acoustic Speaker Backs are available in two standard sizes, addressing both ceiling and wall applications. Custom enclosures can also be ordered to fit any speaker size.

“The new NoiseOut Acoustic Speaker Back is an essential product for every high-performance speaker installation where the quality of sound reproduction matters,” says Bonnie Schnitta, SoundSense LLC president. “This product solves adjacent environment noise problems while improving the sound quality of the speakers all at the same time.”

The NoiseOut Acoustic Speaker Back was developed to reduce noise transmission through speakers in walls and ceilings, keeping the “noise out” of adjacent rooms. The materials used to create the speaker backs are acoustically tested to significantly reduce noise transmission between walls and floors.

Reason #124 Why Readers Love Widescreen Review:
I read Widescreen Review for its informative articles and DVD and equipment reviews. Most of my DVD purchases come about after reading your reviews. I was also in the market for an intern projector (cheap) until the DLP projector matured and I could afford the more expensive Runco DLP projector. I went through all of my back issues; I have been a subscriber from your very first premier issue, and came across your article on the Sony VPL-HS10 Video Projector. I was so impressed with this article that I called around town to see who carries them and who had one hooked up, so I could review it. I was so impressed with the image quality for a projector in this price range that I ended up purchasing one, even though I was not in the market for an LCD projector. In fact, I have stopped subscribing to other home theatre magazines because I find your magazine to be more informative and straight-to-the-point. Thanks for your informative articles, and keep up the good work. - David Tracy
